Please note that due to a considerable increase in the number of new homes in the area, our practice list has increased significantly. To ensure we are able to safely look after our current patients, our practice has had to take the difficult decision to close our practice list to new registrations for the time being. We will continue to register new babies of our existing patients.
NHS Lothian are aware that there is a shortage of available GPs in this area, and have been working on a solution for some time. If you are unable to wait until we have space to register you with our practice, there are a number of other local practices who may be able to register you at this time. People who are homeless may access local GP services. Alternatively GP, nursing and mental health services are available at TAP (The Access Point), 17 Leith Street, Edinburgh and at the Cowgate Clinic, 20 Cowgate, Edinburgh. Advice regarding housing and social work services are also available at TAP (The Access Point).
